More beats with the OP1
My cousin Teddy came over with OP1 from Teenage Engineering. This is the second time we played around with the machine, and I wanted to see what my cousin could come up with using a sampling of a line from Brooklyn Rapper Sean Price. The songs called Onion head, and there was a particular verse that I wanted to capture. A one-liner. My cousin played around it, and he came up with something a little different while playing with the track then I expected, but it still was a creative session.
I got a chance to use some of my C stands to light and mount my camcorder. I took some B roll with the Sony a7S. Mostly it was just an experiment to see how I could set up a live session with my cousin. We’ve talked before of collaborating on music and my art and animation.
